WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER

On Friday, 2^nd March 2012 people from around the world will celebrate the Women’s World Day of Prayer with a service by the Christian women of Malaysia.

“LET JUSTICE PREVAIL”

Our local ecumenical service will be held on Friday, 2^nd March at 7.30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Mellor.

Although organised and led by women and girls, this is a day of prayer for everybody – men, women and young people are all welcome at the service and to join us for .refreshments afterwards.

We meet this year in the Narthex of St. Mary’s Church at 12.45pm(following the Lent Service) for lunch before taking a shortened version of the Service to local care homes – if anyone would like to come for lunch and join us as we visit one of the homes please speak to Margaret Baldwin 812360 or Rita Gorman 812566.
