Last meeting before the summer holidays

Post date: Jul 13, 2009 8:14:11 PM

There were more than 40 adults and children at the last meeting before the summer holiday on Tuesday, 30th June 2009 when Mrs Gaynor McPherson brought the Reception Class from school to sing songs for us.

Several of the 'little angels' had visited school for the first time earlier in the day and were excited to see Mrs McPherson again.

All the children marched and sang 'the Grand Old Duke of York' around the church and back to the Narthex for orange and a biscuit. as it was such a hot day all the adults drank orange as well!

Following the meeting Margaret, Joanne & Charlotte and Rita called to see Tommie who was unable to attend and gave her a plant and a card signed by all present.

Thanks, as always, to Hilda and Irene for preparing the refreshments.

We meet again on the last Tuesday of September at 2.15pm in the Narthex.

All preschool children from birth are most welcome to join us.
