Women's World Day of Prayer Service at Balderstone

SERVICE RESCHEDULED TO FRIDAY 9TH MARCH 2018

Women’s World Day of Prayer

This year’s service will be held at 11.00am at Balderstone St Leonard’s Church. The service has been prepared by Christian women in Suriname and its theme is “All God’s Creation is Very Good” – a reminder to us all that we need to consider how we are treating God’s Creation.

As ever, our local service is an ecumenical undertaking involving Mellor & District Churches Together.

Following the service a light lunch will be served in Mellor Brook Community Centre before visits to local care homes where a shortened version of the service will be shared with the residents.
