Tuesday 17^th April – PCC Section 12 meeting. This meeting is with the Bishop of Burnley, together with Diocesan Representatives and the PCCs of Mellor, Balderstone & Samlesbury to determine what qualities we would ideally like in a future priest.

Friday 20^th April – St Leonard’s, Balderstone are holding an Auction of Promises from 7pm at the Canberra Club

Friday 20^th April – “Jamie Oliver” night organised by Youth Fellowship Members to raise money for the Children’s Corner. Entry is only £1! Please come along and support this social event in aid of a good cause. Starts at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Court. Drinks will be available.

Diamond Jubilee – The Bishop of Blackburn has asked that the parishioners who wish to might like to send greetings and good wishes to Her Majesty as she celebrates her Diamond Jubilee. A form for signing is available at the back of church.
