The 11th Annual Barbecue held on Saturday, 14th July.

We were blessed with a warm, sunny evening on Saturday, 14^th July when the friends of St. Mary’s Church enjoyed the good food from the barbecue and refreshments from the bar in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at Myre Ash.

Once again, we are indebted to Maureen & Alan Bell for the use of their beautiful home and garden, to Liz & Phil Skupski for manning the BBQ (this year with the help of Susanna), to Littlers for supplying the steaks and sausages, Jim for donating the cream, Jean for the strawberries, Bernard for all the carrying about and The Millstone at Mellor for their generous support supplying salads, sauces, bread rolls and a Voucher for the Raffle.

Thank you to all who came along on the evening as guests, those who made donations and/or gave raffle prizes and all those who worked in any way to make the event such an enjoyable success.

The amount raised was £888.10
