Thank you to Hilda

As you will be aware, Hilda has decided to retire from the office of Churchwarden after 12 years of faithful service. Her 12 years have not been the easiest of times as she has had to deal with two interregna which together have lasted over three and a half years but during this time she has carried out her duties in a faithful and exemplary manner, never once shirking from whatever problem she was faced with. As a parish we owe her so much and I would like to put on record my thanks for the help she has given me since I became her “apprentice” and the grateful thanks of the parish.

Hilda we all wish you a long and happy retirement and look forward to continuing to see you at the heart of St Mary’s and the parish.
