Election of Churchwarden: As Hilda is retiring at the end of October a new Churchwarden will need electing. There will be an extraordinary Vestry Meeting on Monday 12th November in the Narthex at 7.00pm. A notice giving details of the election and who can attend and vote is displayed on the church notice boards. Nomination forms are available from Graham or Hilda.

Blackburn Foodbank: People’s generosity means the Foodbank will be open for business very shortly. On the noticeboard there is a letter of thanks as well as information also about visiting and opportunities for volunteering. Jim and Sue Saunders 812403

Election of Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire: There is an event at the Cathedral on Thursday 1st November at 7.30pm which is an opportunity to meet, listen to and question the candidates who are standing in the election on November 15th.
