Pastoral Reorganisation

On the church noticeboard there is a notice setting out the proposals regarding the reorganisation of the parishes of Mellor, Balderstone and Samlesbury. Please read this and if you have any comments please pass them on to any member of the PCC for discussion at the next PCC meeting in early December.

General Synod Vote on Women Bishops Legislation

A letter has been received from the Bishops of Burnley and Lancaster concerning the recent General Synod decision not to approve this legislation. A copy of this letter is also on the noticeboard.
