Harvest Service at Balderstone

We have been invited to join St Leonard’s at the Harvest Service on Thursday October 4^th at 7.30pm.

This will be followed by the Harvest Supper in the school. If anybody needs a lift please contact Hilda or Graham.

Blackburn Foodbank

This is organised by the Trussel Trust, a Christian based charity which is based in Wesley Hall, Blackburn. It provides short term emergency food to people in crisis who have been referred by frontline care professionals such as a doctor or a social worker. All food is donated by members of the public. The PCC agreed to support this by donating some of the church harvest gifts and by also providing a box in church into which donations of food can be placed. There is a specific list of items required. For more information please see Sue or Jim Saunders.
