Evening PCC Section 12 meeting. This meeting is with the Bishop of Burnley, together with Diocesan Representatives and the PCCs of Mellor, Balderstone & Samlesbury to determine what qualities we would ideally like in a future priest.

Friday 20th April – “Jamie Oliver” night organised by Youth Fellowship Members to raise money for the Children’s Corner. Entry is only £1! Please come along and support this social event in aid of a good cause. Starts at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Court. Drinks will be available.

Sunday 22nd April at 12 noon – Annual Vestry Meeting followed by Annual Parish Meeting. All parishioners are invited to attend and anyone on the Electoral Roll is entitled to vote at this meeting. Nomination forms for election of Church Wardens and PCC members are on the notice board in the entrance to Church.

Tuesday 24th April – Little Angels invite all preschool children & their carers for playtime, refreshments and the chance to chat after a short, informal “Assembly” from 2.15pm in the Narthex.

Wednesday 9th May – Deanery Visitation

Diamond Jubilee – The Bishop of Blackburn has asked that the parishioners who wish to might like to send greetings and good wishes to Her Majesty as she celebrates her Diamond Jubilee. A form for signing is available at the back of church.

Office Hour – Every Monday Rev’d Roland Nicholson will be having an “Office Hour” in the Narthex between 6pm and 7pm when he will be available to discuss arrangements for Baptisms, Weddings or any other spiritual matter.
