A fourth EXHIBITION OF ART by local amateur artists will be held
in Mellor St. Mary’s Parish Church on 13, 14 & 15th May 2016.
On Friday from 1.00-4.00pm Harry Caunce will be demonstrating his painting skill in the Narthex and the children from school will be coming across to observe and learn new techniques. Light refreshments will be available for visitors.
We are delighted that Mrs Heather Henderson has kindly agreed to officially open the Exhibition at the Wine & Nibbles Evening on Friday evening from 7.00 – 9.30pm.
Entertainment during the evening will be provided by children from St Mary’s School and Mellor Brook Ukulele Group.
Tickets for this Opening Event are £5, which includes a glass of wine/soft drink and nibbles.

The church will be open for public viewing on Friday, 1- 4pm,
Saturday 10am - 4pm & Sunday 1-4pm.
There will be the opportunity to purchase some of the exhibits
during the weekend.
Please note, this year, as well as paintings, we hope to include
other forms of art eg Pottery, Sculpture and Glass Making.
Refreshments will be available during the weekend
with light lunches served on Saturday.
The event will close with a Songs of Praise Service
on Sunday afternoon at 4.30pm
We hope to welcome friends, old and new, from far and wide,
to share in this celebration of local talent.
All profit made by the exhibition will be for the benefit of our
beautiful church building.
