ANNUAL VESTRY & ANNUAL PARISH CHURCH MEETINGS -CHURCHWARDENS & TREASURER

The Annual Vestry and Annual Parish Church Meetings will be held in church following Parish Communion on Sunday, 12^th April 2015.

We need to bring the following to everyone’s urgent attention if we are to continue to have a legally constituted PCC from April this year.

We need to appoint TWO Churchwardens at this meeting if we are to continue to have a legally constituted PCC from April this year and so that St Mary’s Church can function as it should in this parish.

Members of the Parochial Church Council assist the Churchwardens by carrying out duties at each church service on a rota basis which significantly reduces the workload.

Graham Tipper has served as Churchwarden for the past 6 years and is available to advise and guide whoever takes over this very important role within our parish church.

Please, please pray that someone will step up and answer the call . . . . .

We also urgently require a Church Treasurer to keep the books in order. This needs someone who can spare a little time each week to collect the ‘paperwork’ from church, pay bills etc and record details. This post would suit someone with bookkeeping skills.

Please, please would someone come forward?

Additionally, there are spaces for more people on the PCC.

Please give this your very prayerful and serious consideration and speak to Amma Sue, Graham or any member of the PCC if it would be helpful.
