THE ANNUAL CHURCHYARD SPRING CLEAN

posted 5 Apr 2019, 03:17 by Richard Jones   [ updated 5 Apr 2019, 03:30 ]

Monday 8
TH APRIL starting at 6.00pm.

Once again it is time for the annual churchyard spring clean to remove the

dead leaves, broken branches and the general litter that has accumulated

over the winter months.

If you are able to spare an hour or two that evening it would be really

appreciated as the more helpers there are, the easier is the task.

Please bring garden rakes and wheel barrows if you have them.

Once the clean up has been done the mowers can start their summer

grass cutting which makes the churchyard look so much neater.

HELP WITH MOWING THE GRASS THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER

WOULD BE GREATLY

APPRECIATED.

THANK YOU

EASTER EXPERIENCE

posted 3 Apr 2019, 14:51 by Richard Jones

Where? In Church

When? Wednesday 24th April

Thursday 25th April

Who? Children from Mellor St. Mary’s School

What? The children will rotate around six different stations engaging in reflection, activities and crafts, learning about the Easter story from Palm Sunday to the Resurrection.

I am hoping that the activity will deepen the children’s understanding of the Easter story whilst they enjoy the activities as they move around the Church.

Parents, grandparents and friends are invited to join us at the end of the school day (3:15pm) for refreshments and to let your children guide you on the journey!

We look forward to seeing you all at what will be a very special event!
