Pavement Poem

Pavements For Pedestrians Please!

Pavements pinched by parked 'Pride and Joys'

Pedestrians a'walking, we know this annoys

For parents with pushchairs it's a constant chicane

A problem encountered again and again

People in wheelchairs to roads must resort

When facing obstruction from those without thought

A bus passes close in too much of a hurry

A scratch in the paintwork - it's always a worry

We know your car's precious - with it you're delighted

But please have a care for the partially sighted

To finish, a thought, it's just a request

Please parallel park - 'tis part of the test!
