A special thank you to Irene Holt and Lorna Shaw (Mothers’ Union) for their splendid effort in producing some delicious cakes to raise money for show funds.

Over the years, Millie Clarkson instigated and then piloted the Garden Show from its birth to its now flourishing position as Village Show. It must have been gratifying for Millie to see the excellent turn out of exhibitors and visitors to this year’s show.

Finally thanks to our illustrious choir master, Frank Ashton, for kindly presenting cups to the winners and thanking everyone who contributed in any way to the success of the show.

Kath Pickup
