The Summer Term 2012 will be an exciting time for all pupils. There are lots of extra events planned to mark Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee and the London Olympics. All the teachers are planning whole school topics based around these celebrations plus Ancient Greece and London. All our History, Geography, Design Technology, Music, P.E., P.S.H.E. and Art lessons will give the children lots of opportunities to understand the wider world, learn new skills and be creative. Special days are also planned including a Street Party, an Olympic Sports Day and a Greek Day. We are hoping follow the progress of the Olympic torch relay and join in with as many local and national celebrations as possible. In our daily worship, we shall be finding Bible stories that show values such as respect, truth, friendship and peace and discussing how these can be used in our daily lives.

Confirmation classes will start in School for Year 6 pupils on Wednesday, 25th April from 3:30 – 4:30pm.

School closes for half-term at 3:15pm on Tuesday 29th May and re-opens on Monday 11th June at 8:45am.
