United Benefice Walk

At this time of year our churches are usually busy enjoying outdoor events. As these can’t happen at the moment, we decided to organise something a bit different.

We would like to invite you to take part in the United Benefice Walk. Between Sunday 17th and Saturday 23rd May, choose whichever day is best for you, enjoy a walk of whatever distance you can manage knowing that throughout our United Benefice, even though we can’t be together, people are walking just like you.

Please can you let us know how many miles you walked, how many people took part and take a photo or short video of yourselves (or the view). Please send all this  by either:

Deadline for inclusion is 7pm Saturday 23rd May.

If you would like to make a donation to Blackburn Foodbank, we have created a Just giving page to make it easy. Your donation will help vulnerable families who are finding life particularly hard during this difficult time.  The just giving page details are:

On Sunday 24th May, when we will be joined by Bishop Julian for our Zoom service, we hope to announce how many miles we walked as a United Benefice, how much money we raised together for Blackburn Foodbank and show a slideshow of all the photos/videos at the end of the service.
