NEWS

A Musical Concert is to take place in church at 7.00 pm on Saturday 7th  September, entitled ‘Some Enchanted Evening’-

an evening of music with favourites from the shows, musical theatre, the American songbook, opera and much more.   The concert is to raise money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (‘NICU’) at Burnley General Teaching Hospital’ where Gemma (Geoff and Sue Gill’s daughter) and Laurence’s baby Alex was treated in the first two weeks of his life.   His Nana, Eileen, is organising the event and is calling upon some excellent singers

she has used in previous events she has masterminded.

More detail is to be found in the Parish Magazine.

Missions – Hilda has recently sent £50 to Water Aid.
