will be held at St. Mary’s Mellor at 11.15 am.
Benefice Office Hour 6.00 - 7.00 pm at the Vicarage, Mellor, for
discussion of arrangements for Baptisms, Weddings, or any other spiritual
matter.

Friday 14 February The Annual Village Quiz,
with a Valentine's theme this year, will be held in School at 7.30pm. A Meat and Potato pie supper is included in
the ticket cost of £6.50. Tickets available from Rita Gorman, Debbie
Summersgill or Sonia Tipper.

NEWS
Party planners required! Rita, Debbie and Sonia would welcome help on the
Social and Fundraising Committee. We aim to arrange enjoyable events which
also raise money to enable St. Mary's to meet its everyday running costs. If
you are interested they would love to hear from you. Contact numbers can be
found on the poster advertising the Quiz Night.

FOSM’s (Friends of St Mary’s Mellor
) are holding a Space Night on
Wednesday 12 February. There will be
two special guests for the evening, to make a presentation on space in the
school hall followed by a question and answer session. All the children
will then have the opportunity to look for Saturn through telescopes set up
inside and outside the school. Please
come along at 7.00pm, there will be refreshments to purchase, drinks and
cakes. The evening will close at 8.30pm. Tickets are £2 per adult and
£1 per child. Children from reception
to year 4 will need to be accompanied by an adult but children is year 5
& 6 may be unaccompanied and collected at the end of evening.
