NEWS
St Mary’s Church Autumn Fayre will be held this year on Saturday 14 November in the
school hall. It seems a long time off,
but if you have any ideas for the Fayre, would like to have a stall of your
own, or would like to help on a stall, please let us know. We are always looking for ideas to help
make it a profitable event, with all proceeds going to the Church. Thank you. Social
and Fundraising Committee.

The Choir
is recruiting! We are looking
for trebles (boys and girls), sopranos, altos, tenors and basses. Please talk
to Mike Wilcock, the Organist and Choirmaster, for further details. We
practice on Wednesdays from 7 – 8 pm.
Lost Property Box The box is currently holding
the following items left in church: 3 woolly hats, 3 scarves, 2 pairs of
woollen gloves and 2 umbrellas. (All
useful items this ‘summer’!)

Cathedral at 4.00 pm.

Friday 25 September
Songs of Praise 7.00 pm at Samlesbury Church.
