NEWS

Foodbank Harvest Appeal

The older children at school will be bringing in non-perishable items for the Harvest Festival on 13 October.  These will then be collected  by the Foodbank.  Please could we support their efforts and put our donations in the collection point in the church entrance?  Spare carrier bags are also needed.  Many thanks in advance.  Jim and Sue.

Reminder

If you would like to enter the draw to go to the inauguration of Archdeacon Julian as Bishop of Blackburn on 19 October please remember to sign the list in the narthex by the end of today!

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Friday 18 October 7.00 pm ‘Last Night of the Proms’ in Church. Come and enjoy various selections of music from the Church Choir, Day & Sunday Schools, Youth Fellowship, Little Angels, Young Musicians and the newly formed Mellor Singing Group.
Entrance is by programme costing £5 per person, available from
