Remembrance Poppies

The proceeds from the sale of hand-made poppies in Church amounted to £91, all of which will be donated directly to the Royal British Legion. Thank you to everyone who supported our appeal. From The Card Ladies.

Autumn Fayre Will be held this year on Saturday 12 November from 11.00 am - 1.00 pm and will be opened by David Holroyd and Mick Venables.  We would appreciate donations of crackers (not full boxes - maybe those left over from previous years) for a novelty stall, and also any small gifts we could wrap for the Gift Stall. Thank you.

 

Members of the Choir would appreciate donations of Christmas decorations and sweets to sell on their stall at the Autumn Fayre. Thank you.

And also ....we would gratefully accept any items for the Book & DVD Stall at the Autumn Fayre. They can be left in the narthex or brought to school on Friday 11 November at 4.00 pm. Thank you.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Saturday 19 November Big Band Night at BAe Systems Canberra Club at 7.30 pm.  Tickets £10 including supper are now available from members of the Social Committee.

 

 

Saturday 26 November The Church of St. Leonard the Less, Salmesbury, are again holding their Christmas afternoon tea from 2.30 - 5.00 pm at Samlesbury Memorial Hall.  A great opportunity to catch up with friends, old and new, and win or buy some extra Christmas items.  Tickets £7, children free, available from members of the Social Committee, or pay on the door.
