NEWS

Church Repair Appeal
Unfortunately we have to raise around £50,000 to repair the east end of the church and an Appeals Committee has been set up.  To launch the appeal and to provide more information about the repair there will be a Cheese and Wine Evening in the church on Saturday May 18th at 7pm.  The cost is £5 and everyone is invited.  Please support this.

Sidespersons

Will everyone willing to continue please sign the nomination form in the narthex.  New people will be more than welcome!  Admission of all sidespersons will take place during morning service on Sunday 9 June.

A Gentle Reminder
A time to pray or a time to talk?  What do we come to church for? These are very important questions which, as individuals, we need to address.  Yes, we come to be with friends and to meet, but uppermost in our minds has to be that we are here to give thanks to God for what goes on in our lives, and to meet Him in the sacrament.  Please would you remember that others around you like to be quiet and still and not hear others conversing.  This applies not only before the start of worship, but also especially during communion.  This is a time for reflection and to sing the communion hymn.  There is plenty of time at the end of the service to catch up with friends.  THANK YOU.
