Remembrance Poppies

A selection of hand-made poppies is now available on the card stall.  Minimum contribution per poppy is £1, all contributions going directly to The Royal British Legion.  We appreciate your support. Thank you.

Bible Study / Discussion Group

Anyone interested please come along to an initial meeting on  Thursday 3 November at 7.30 pm at the home of Glenn Clayton, ‘Ingledene’, Preston New Road, Mellor Brook (01254 813330).  At this meeting, as well as Bible Study, we’ll decide on the frequency and content of meetings.  If enough people would prefer an afternoon meeting, it may be possible to have 2 groups.  Mtr. Enid. 

 

 

Autumn Fayre Will be held this year on Saturday 12 November from 11.00 am - 1.00 pm and will be opened by David Holroyd and Mick Venables.  We would appreciate donations of crackers (not full boxes - maybe those left over from previous years) for a novelty stall, and also any small gifts we could wrap for the Gift Stall. Thank you.

Members of the Choir would appreciate donations of Christmas decorations and sweets to sell on their stall at the Autumn Fayre. Thank you.

Saturday 19 November Big Band Night at BAe Systems Canberra Club at 7.30 pm.  Tickets £10 including supper are now available from members of the Social Committee.
