All Souls Service If you would like a loved one remembered at this service please add their name to the list in the Narthex. The master list is there for you to check if they are already included.

 

FOSMS News Our annual Bonfire Extravaganza with its fantastic firework display will take place on Wednesday 5 November.  It will start with a BBQ at 5.30 pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.00 pm and fireworks at 6.30 pm.  Come along for a glass or two of mulled wine, hot chocolate, coffee, treacle toffee, toffee apples and the all-important glow sticks!  Please do not bring personal fireworks or sparklers.  Donations on entry.

 

 

Remembrance Sunday A reminder that following the Remembrance Service in church there is a special service at the War Memorial at which we will be joined by St Mary's Osbaldeston and Mellor Methodist congregations.  This will be followed by free refreshments in school with an opportunity to view the children's recent work on World War 1 and other village memorabilia.  The parish council would appreciate assistance with providing cakes and if you are able to help please sign the list in the Narthex, which will be collected after this morning's service.

Sunday 30 November Advent Sunday.  A Service of Light at 4.00 pm will replace Holy Communion.
