NEWS

St Mary’s Church Autumn Fayre will be held this year on Saturday 14 November in the school hall.  If you have any ideas for the Fayre, would like to have a stall of your own, or would like to help on a stall, please let us know.  We are always looking for ideas to help make it a profitable event, with all proceeds going to the Church.  Social and Fundraising Committee.

 

Coffee Morning You are invited to a Coffee Morning on Wednesday 11 November at 10 Church Close, Mellor.  No ticket is required, just come along and enjoy tea, coffee and homemade cakes.  All proceeds will go to our Autumn Fayre, and our Prize Draw tickets will be available. We look forward to seeing you there.  Jean and Rita.

 

 

FOSMS (Friends of St Mary’s School)

We are in the process of arranging our annual Bonfire Night celebrations which will take place on Thursday 5 November.  We will need a group of volunteers to build the bonfire and provide support on the night.

 

Hand-made Remembrance Poppies made by members of the congregation, are now available on the card stall.  We ask for a minimum contribution of £1 each, all money going to The Royal British Legion.  Thank you for your support.
