Friends of Chernobyl (FOCC) Can you help?  FOCC is run by volunteers who raise funds to bring children over to Blackburn to visit host families.  The next visit is in June when twelve children will be arriving from Belarus.  To boost fundraising the charity shop on Lord Street West in Blackburn has been booked for half-term week 16 – 21 February.  We need to fill the shop with bric-a-brac, books, good quality clothing, un-wanted Christmas presents - in fact anything we can resell apart from electrical items.  Please could you hand in donations at the shop ideally on Monday 16 February or at any time later in the week.

If you able to help in the shop, we are in need of volunteers on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 February.  If you need more information about the charity or wish to donate items, please contact:  Liz Skupski, Blackburn Coordinator FOCC, at liz.skupski@talk21.com
