NEWS

Busy Week for St. Mary's Church Choir Everyone is welcome to come along and sing carols with our Church choir on Wednesday 18 December at 8 pm in the Millstone Hotel and/or Thursday   19 December at 8 pm in the Feilden’s Arms Hotel.  You are also invited to join in with the singing of your favourite carols at the
NINE LESSONS and CAROLS  SERVICE at 6.30 pm next Sunday, 22 December.  Coffee and mince pies will be served after the service.

Mellor Recipe Book Thank you to everyone who bought a copy. They are an ideal Christmas present and we still have a few available - so please see Debbie S, Jean, Rita or Sonia if you would like one.

 

 

Church Magazine If anyone would like to contribute news or an item to the January magazine please give it to Rita as soon as possible.

Payments by Cheque Our bank, Santander, has informed us that all cheques to St Mary’s have to be made payable to ‘Mellor Parish Church PCC’.  No other wording will be accepted!  (Several recently issued cheques have been returned to us because they were made out differently).

Glasses Church has a quantity of glasses - pint, 1/2 pint and wine glasses available for hire. Charge is £5 per case and they will be delivered and collected anywhere in the Mellor area. No need to wash them after use - we will do that. Contact Rita Gorman or Jean Freeman.

DATES FOR YOUR DIARY

Please note there will be no coffee mornings on 24 and 31 December.  However, the 9.30 am Holy Communion will still take place on those days.

Please remember that there is a HEARING LOOP in Church and hearing aids have to be adjusted to the 'T' position to use it.
