Friday 18 October 7.00 pm ‘Last
Night of the Proms’ in Church. Come and enjoy various selections of
music from the Church Choir, Day & Sunday Schools, Youth Fellowship,
Little Angels, Young Musicians and the newly formed Mellor Singing
Group.
Entrance is by programme costing £5 per person, available from members of the Church Choir and Social Committee. Everyone is invited. All proceeds will go towards the Church
Roof Appeal.
Saturday 19 October Inauguration of Archdeacon Julian as Bishop of
Blackburn at Blackburn Cathedral.

Harvest Parcels These will be distributed tomorrow, Monday, from 9.30 am onwards. We
would appreciate any help you can give with this, whether or not you have

Fund Raising Dinner The fund raising dinner at the Millstone on Friday
4 October raised £1160. A sincere thank you to all those who supported the
event and helped in any way. Geoff

Donation Box
Unfortunately, during last Sunday's evensong, the wall-mounted wooden
donation box was stolen. The police think it may possibly be dumped somewhere
in the village, in a garden perhaps. Please would everyone lookout for it.
