Church Cleaning The 2016 rota is being prepared  - hoping all members of the 12 cleaning teams are happy to continue on the rota - if anyone else would like to join please see Rita Gorman  812566.  Thank You.

Father Christmas will be on his sleigh visiting Mellor Brook on the evening of  Monday 14 December wishing everyone a Happy Christmas with lots of ho ho ho’s!!  FOSMS will be collecting donations along the way.  Thank you for your support.

Recycled Cards Thank you for all the support we have received during 2015. On your behalf we have been pleased to donate the sum of £50 to each of the following charities: The East Lancashire Hospice; Mencap; Motor Neurone Disease Association; Northern Cleft Foundation; North West Air Ambulance, Rosemere Cancer Foundation.  A contribution of £20 was also made to the School’s fund raising for Children in Need Appeal in November.  Donations to charity since November 2006 total more than £7,600.  Thanks to you all.

Thursday 17 December Do you have a question about God, the Church, Faith, Prayer…etc. that you have never had the opportunity to ask? Well, this is your ideal opportunity!     Advent Any Questions will be held at St Mary’s Mellor, starting at 7.00 pm, when Sister Sue and other members of the ministry team will be answering any questions that folk care to ask. If you have a question, no matter how simple or complex, then do

come along and ask it. There are cards at the back of church for those who would like to ask a question but don’t feel comfortable speaking out in public. Just write your question on the card and it will be read out for you on the night.  Don’t have a question? Then come along anyway - you might be inspired to ask one on the night.  All welcome and tea and coffee provided.

If you wish to contribute anything to the notices please send an email to Chris Davis at by Thursday evening.
