Licensing Service 7.30 pm for the United Benefice of Balderstone, Mellor and Samlesbury for Rev'd Dr Sue Williams OCMM at St. Mary's Mellor.  Refreshments afterwards in school.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Sunday 17 March   The Vestry Meeting and AGM of the Parochial Church Council will take place after Morning Service.  Details of the election of churchwardens, sidespersons and PCC members are on the notice board in the entrance.  Is anyone willing to help Nigel as a crucifer?  Anyone to be the new PCC secretary?  Please speak to Graham or Jim. 

Wednesday 27th March there will be a Passover meal at the Methodist Church at 7.00pm. Further details to follow.

Stewardship Envelopes
The envelopes for April onwards are now available in the Narthex.  Please collect these as soon as possible. 

Church Electoral Roll
The new electoral roll has been prepared and will be displayed in Church until the end of today.  Please check your record and inform Sonia Tipper of any mistakes.

Three Parish Walk
St Leonard's, Balderstone are arranging a walk from Mellor to Samlesbury via Balderstone on Sunday 24 March starting from the War Memorial at Mellor at 1.30pm.  Further details appear in the magazine.

‘Meat The Producers’
On Thursday 25th March, Frank Littler & Sons are hosting a dinner at The Millstone, introducing some of their local suppliers. The 4-course dinner is £30 per head, and the Social Committee are hoping to have a table there.  Further details will follow; if you are interested please speak to Jean or Rita.

During Lent, the children at school are making a special effort to bring in items for the Foodbank.  Could we possibly do the same?  The Collection Point is in the Church entrance.  Many thanks, Jim and Sue Saunders.
