He is risen indeed! Alleluia! Some thirty of us gathered
in Church before dawn where Reverend Roland lead us in the first part
of our Easter Day dawn service and the lighting of the Easter Candle.
Mist and drizzle enfolded us we made our way up the hill
above the old quarry, where we proclaimed our Easter greetings to
Mellor. At breakfast in the
narthex, we were plied with fizz, bacon butties and tea - thanks to all those who catered. A great way to start
our Easter Day celebrations. He is risen indeed! Alleluia! |
